Her Bio.
Dr. Woojung Michelle Lee is a board-certified podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon serving children and adults in Frisco, Texas. Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Lee provides personalized, evidence-based care while considering each patient’s overall health, lifestyle, and individual goals.
Dr. Lee has extensive experience evaluating and treating congenital and acquired foot deformities, pediatric foot conditions, sports injuries, and complex foot and ankle concerns. Her surgical interests include reconstructive foot and ankle procedures and minimally invasive techniques, including minimally invasive bunion surgery when clinically appropriate.
Whether a patient needs conservative treatment, rehabilitation, or surgery, Dr. Lee carefully explains the available options and develops an individualized treatment plan designed to reduce pain, restore function, and help the patient return to the activities they enjoy.
Her story.
Dr. Woojung Lee was born in South Korea and is fluent in both Korean and English. She earned her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin—Hook ’em!
After discovering her passion for podiatric medicine, Dr. Lee attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. She graduated in the top 10% of her class and was inducted into the Pi Delta National Honor Society.
Dr. Lee then completed a three-year surgical residency at Hunt Regional Medical Center. During her residency, she trained with leading foot and ankle specialists throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area and gained extensive experience in podiatric medicine, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, and modern surgical techniques.
Today, Dr. Lee brings that experience to Modern Podiatry in Frisco, where she provides personalized foot and ankle care for children and adults. As a physician fluent in Korean and English, she is proud to help patients and families feel informed, understood, and comfortable throughout their care.
Dr. Lee was selected by D Magazine as one of the Best Doctors in Collin County in 2022.

In her free time.
Outside the office, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. She loves traveling, exploring different cultures, and—of course—trying new cuisines.
